It's an Indian restaurant from the original owners of Maharaja on Pike off Broadway (Charles Mudede loved the bar there). It's where Chao Bistro (and 1200 Bistro, and Sammie Sue's) used to be.

Worst experience I have ever had ordering food.

Worst experience I have ever had ordering food.

1. They didn't know their own menu when we we're ordering, that should have been a sign.

2. Took one hour. We live pretty close

3.Delivery man was completely rude. Before the next incident happened.

3.Didn't give us any rice at all. So we called and asked if they forgot it; and they claim that they do not serve rice with any of their dishes. Which is completely absurd, I have never in my life eaten at any Indian restaurant (in multiple different states) that charged to have rice with your dish.
Then they told us they could charge us $2.50 for rice and we could come pick it up. After many different excuses they then said that we just didn't order enough food for free rice, we had around $40 dollars of food.

4. The lovely man ended the conversation by calling us a mother f**ker and that everyone in this country acts this way. Maybe you should try not being a total a**hole.

5.There are a billion Indian restaurants in this city with much better food and WAY
better service.

6.The food is bland and unexciting.

I might be a little biased at this point, but the food was awful. Maybe that has something to do with us making are own rice and all the food being ice cold by the time we actually got to eat it. By eating it, i mean taking three bites and throwing it out. I could think of a lot better ways to throw away $40+.

Avoid like the plague.
