After more than a decade, Tamara Murphy's upscale Mediterranean restaurant Brasa is still a star of the Seattle food scene. It's also an excellent place to go for appetizers in the bar—the happy hour's awesome.

Great time!!!

Great food! Great wine! Great service! Like that the menu is seasonal and local. Look forward to going back! We shared and app/salad and entree and had just the right amount! next time we'll try dessert! The larger parties around us seemed to be having a good time too.

Late night comfort

I can't think of anywhere else I want to go after ten for a comfortable, laid back, excellent meal. House drinks are creative and fun, the atmosphere upscale but not haughty. The staff has consistently been playful and skilled. Though the menu occasionally misfires, overall the food has been great with a number of spectacular desserts and seasonal offerings. I'm more than willing to accept the infrequent well-meaning mediocre dish provided that the kitchen keeps taking risks on intriguing and delightful new options.

Inconsistent.

I love the atmosphere, but after first being pleased with the food and returning three times, I am begining to feel that the food is inconsistent.

Great food, great atmosphere

Food was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxed. All of the food was good but the pork belly and the chocolate torte are to die for!

Casual elegance

Brasa is one of my favorite places. From the booths in the dining area, to the long serpentine bench and a communal table in the bar area Brasa reflects a casual elegance not matched by many Seattle restaurants. Many of their menu items are available as “bar” sized options as well, and any of them are sure to delight. I have had a great time both on dates or out with friends for a snack and a glass of wine. I could recommend a trip to try it out to any one.
