The Stranger reported on domestic-violence victim Shawnna Hughes' inability to get a divorce. It passed the House 89-0 on Monday. Meanwhile Seattle Sen. Adam Kline (D-37) has a compromise deal in place to modify the state's draconian three-strikes law, allowing those convicted of lesser felonies to get a parole hearing after 20 years. Way to go Seattle liberals!
