C.E. Putnam was a huge figure in Seattle poetry for years. He was a co-founder of the Subtext Reading Series and a member of Interrupture, and it seemed like he took part in every poetry event in town for a while there. Then he moved to Singapore. But now he's back for a special reading. He's just published six (SIX) new books of poetry. Each book is its own separate entity. They are all very Putnam-y. This should be a night to remember. There will also be a $4 whiskey special at the College Inn Pub that night.
