BEARDS OF COMEDY
The Beards of Comedy are Andy Sandford, Joe Zimmerman, TJ Young, and Dave Stone, and they come from the South with comedy stuck in their beards. I have never seen any of them do comedy, nor did I do any research for the purposes of this column (gimme a break—I'm still working this shit out). However, their bio tells me that the Beards have worked with "Aziz Ansari, Todd Barry, Doug Benson, Jim Breuer, Greg Giraldo, Andy Kindler, Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Marc Maron, and Greg Proops," and those are, like, the best people on earth. See? No additional research needed. Comedy Underground, 8 pm, $10, all ages.
TEENAGERS TELLING JOKES
Local comedy stalwarts Emmett Montgomery and Peter Greyy teach a standup class to students ages 15 to 18 at Puget Sound Community School. For their final exam (and to raise money for the school), the newly hilarious children will be flexing their comedy muscles onstage. In front of you. The results, no doubt, will be awkward and heartwarming. Also on the bill: Yoram Bauman, "the world's first and only standup economist." Comedy Underground, 8 pm, $12, all ages.
