Rob Delaney, Jimmy Pardo, and Chris Hardwick
Rob Delaney is the best person on Twitter. He loves pussy. Rendezvous, 10 pm, $15, 21+.
The title of Jimmy Pardo's podcast, Never Not Funny, is accurate. It's the kind of podcast that sinks roots into people's psyches until they get emotionally attached—until the podcast feels like a part of their family. Like a funny grandma with two man-heads who lives inside your computer and charges you money to listen to her talk about herself all day. If you have not experienced such a podcast attachment, just trust me. It is a thing. Here, Pardo will be doing standup, which will no doubt showcase his talents for crotchety frankness and endearing snark. Jimmy Pardo is a great talker. The Parlor Collection at Lincoln Square, Thurs 7:30 pm, Fri–Sat 7:30 and 10 pm, $15–$30, 21+.
You might remember Chris Hardwick as that guy who used to stand next to Jenny McCarthy's boobs and, later, Carmen Electra's boobs. But did you know that he is also very, very funny? And a famous podcasting nerd? All true! According to his bio, "Chris is also a writer for Wired magazine and a talking cow on Nickelodeon's Back at the Barnyard. He is fully aware that there are no male cows with udders in life, so please keep that question in your brain." Also please be respectful and do not try to milk Chris Hardwick. Showbox at the Market, 7 pm, $25, all ages.
