Thanks for the warning

After reading the reviews, I will not go to the crab pot. Even though I have wanted to go for a long time. Scared ME away. Overcooked food and bad service? Don't have to tell me twice!!

Looking For Good Seafood? Go Elsewhere

I was super excited about trying this place out, so much so that I didn't even mind the 90-minute wait for a table (they don't take reservations.) I loved the concept, but man, the reality was a major disappointment. Our table was in the indoor/outdoor section and it had dirty floors, plastic tables, and cheap plastic chairs. Our "Seafeast" was overcooked and indifferently seasoned. The bill for two (starters, drinks, Seafeast, tax, and tip) was over $100, which is perfectly reasonable for great (or even good) seafood, but it felt like way too much for the caliber of food we were served.

On the plus side, they do have $5 splits of decent sparkling wine (Freixenet cava), and their draft beer selection includes Manny's Pale Ale from Georgetown Brewing Company. This, combined with the nicely tangy cocktail sauce that was served with the shrimp cocktail, earns the Crab Pot two stars instead of one.

Terrible Food and Service!

I absolutely do NOT recommend the Crabpot at any location. The one in Bellevue has watered down drinks, very poor service and overcooked seafood. There are so many good restaurants in the Seattle-Bellevue-Kirkland area that it was a big mistake for us to assume that the negative reviews were incorrect. Believe the negative reviews!!

Rude server

Terrible Service!!! It was a busy Friday afternoon and we sat in the bar. We were handed our bill after one round of drinks and an appetizer without the server asking if we wanted anything else or being asked if we were finished. It was extremely rude. The server was curt with us and acted irritated when we asked her for a sprite. I felt our table was quite polite to her and friendly. I wouldnt go back. But its a tourist trap anyway...so who cares, right?

The Worst Place for Seafood on the Waterfront

They have a great concept but horrible service and even worse food. I have had better seafood at Ivars and for a better price. Stay away from any of the breaded seafood, way too salty to be enjoyable. Better yet, just stay away from this restaurant, you'll thank me later.

The Best All You Can Eat

Homer Simpson watch out ~ the Crab Pot is for you (& anyone else with a roll of Tums in their pocket). Imagine prepping with a bib (that catches what you drop), then the server dumps more seafood on your table than you can possibly eat - so do the Beppo thing and bring lots of friends because you'll need them for back up. It's really about the All You Can Eat at this place, the rest of the menu is pretty standard tourist fare. Eat em up Yum!
