THURSDAY 5/3

BLOOM BLAP WITH LOVE AND LIGHT, GLADKILL, RUSS LIQUID

Reno, Nevada's Love and Light infuse dubstep with an elastic, glitched-up funkiness that makes you wish you were double-jointed and blessed with eight limbs. Imagine broken-beat prankster Si Begg at his late-'90s peak messing around with Aphex Twin's discombobulated acid-techno classic "Windowlicker," and you have an idea of the mischief Love and Light (Ryan Anderson and Matt Madonna) wreak. California's Gladkill follows in the brohemian, future-bass steps of SoCal acts like Glitch Mob, with detours into loin-lathering R&B overtures; check out his remix of Michael Jackson's "Rock with You" (retitled "Take It Slow") for proof. Neumos, 8 pm, 2 for $15, 21+.

SATURDAY 5/5

FRED P AND ANTHONY PARASOLE'S DEEP-AS-FUCK HOUSE

The newish High & Tight collective have been known for their rarefied tastes regarding dance music and their lavish, exclusive parties. Now they're opening things up to the public with the classy 1-2 house-music punch of Fred P (aka Black Jazz Consortium) and Anthony Parasole (Deconstruct, House-n-Home). Those who like their hausmusik both sexy and cerebral will be transported to their happy place tonight. Melrose Market Studios, 11 pm, $12 adv/$15 DOS, 21+.

ADDISON GROOVE, MAKER OF THAT GOOD DUBSTEP

Whoa, here's a brilliant last-minute addition to your weekend entertainment agenda: Addison Groove (aka Headhunter). He tore up the clubs in 2010 with his monomaniacal UK funky banger "Footcrab," and turned Neumos into a sweatfest at Decibel that year. Mr. Groove's been injecting Chicago juke—a minimalist, jittery brand of dance music often featuring looped, exuberant vocals—into his DJ sets, so expect to lose weight. With Doc Daneeka, Ill Cosby, Kid Hops, and Sounds in Silence. Deep Down Lounge, 9 pm, 21+.

SUNDAY 5/6

IG88'S DREAMY HIPHOP FANTASIAS

IG88 (aka Branden Clarke) is yet another young Seattle producer on whom you need to keep tabs. On his A Loom and Not Me album, he works with a refined sense of melody and rhythm in that nebulous zone among hiphop, triphop, and dream pop, and weaves intriguing samples from what is surely a rad record collection. IG88 has also collaborated with former Stranger music intern Chance Random (Kaleb Gubernick), so you know he's on the fast track to stardom. With Gauntlet Hair and Dana Buoy. Barboza, 8 pm, $10, 21+.
