RECORDER FLUTE COLLECTION--La Musica Foundation, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, is in the middle of a three-month effort to collect 1,001 new and used recorder flutes to donate to elementary-school students in Honduras. If you have one to donate, slip it into a large padded envelope and mail it to La Musica Foundation, 2160 Fairway Loop, Eugene, OR 97401. Monetary donations will also be accepted and will be used entirely to purchase instruments.

MOBILIZE FOR WOMEN'S LIVES--Supporters of reproductive freedom and self-determination who wish to protest attacks on women's health care, demand safety for women and children, and fight for economic freedom (women still earn 72 cents for every dollar earned by men) should gather today at noon at Westlake Center for a march to the courthouse and a rally, and to view a clothes-hanger sculpture.
