The Polish Home, aka Dom Polski, is not so much a restaurant as a happening. It’s a private club that serves Seattle’s Polish community, but onetime memberships are available to the public for $1 on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, when friends and acquaintances and (if you’re smart) you gather to eat pierogi, the Polish Platter (cabbage rolls, sausage, pierogi, potatoes), and heavenly pork chops—pounded thin, then breaded and fried like schnitzel.

The best home cooked food in all of Seattle, these Polish folks know what they are doing, great selection of polish beer at the bar too! I strongly suggest the "polish platter" which gives you a little bit of everything. The only bad thing is they are only open to the public on Friday so I have to wait a whole week to eat there and can't go every night.

One of a kind. Where else can you become a club member, dine on a ham hock the size of your head, and drink beer that is 12% alcohol by volume.

Great for groups -- especially birthday parties!
