Every Thursday, FareStart hosts Guest Chef Night, featuring dinners from great Seattle chefs for just $24.95—reserve in advance for your favorites, as these tend to sell out fast. And all proceeds support FareStart's mission to provide "a community that transforms lives by empowering homeless and disadvantaged men, women, and families to achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training and employment in the food service industry." FareStart is a fantastic thing, and you should go there often.

Yum.

Reasonably priced, extremely tasty, seasonal ingredients, helpin' out the world and stuff. FareStart should probably be on that Stuff White People Like blog. Anyway, it's awesome.

It's not just about helping people! The food is actually great and when you go to lunch your food is delivered quickly and tasteful. the prices is the best...

Support them!

I've been to their dinner on Thursday night a few times. The food is pretty good, but nothing spectacular. It is good for the price and I like getting food right away. It is also nice knowing you are helping out, supporting their job training and stuffing your face at the same time. Everything there is donating, including the food and the guest chef's time. It's a great cause to support
