Fremont Abbey Arts Center---good for intimate gigs and interesting events!
Beautiful building and clear winner in the available choices for North end non bar event settings. I wanted to produce a CD release gig in an intimate setting that felt like a cool, old school coffeehouse AND there's a grand--epic room upstairs for other types of events.....ample street parking....control of your event but support by venue staff.....good Bistro up the Street---Brad's Swingside Cafe--really good Italian and provencal style cuisine!

Super beautiful venue if you're tired of doing bar-club gigs for your CD release or unusual event that begs to be all ages and sans the booze pushing---reasonable rates, you get control and support, vintagy building but great sound. Street parking not too bad and really good Bistro up the street---Brads Swingside Cafe--intimate nice. I checked around for a new setting for a CD release and FA came up as a clear north end of seattle winner -- hands down. Glad it's there

More neighborhood arts center than music venue, they do not have any parking, so plan on taking a bus. The pizza across the street sucks, but a little restaurant next door (Persimmon) is always good. The coffee shop across the street closes early.
OK for intimate acoustic concerts or music lessons at the Fremont Music School.
