Bar Details

  • The Garage offers plenty of pool, but also bowling! Billiards and bowling are cheap during the daily happy hour. Call ahead and reserve a table or lane. This is also a great place to throw a party, and the pub food (burgers, daily-special mashed potatoes, salads) is above average. Dogs are allowed on the (heated) patio.
  • Hours: Daily 3 pm-2 am.
  • Happy Hour: Daily 3-7 pm ($3 wells, $2.50 drafts, $5/hr billiards, $10/hr bowling lanes); Mon-Thu, Sun 10 pm-2 am ($5/hr billiards, $5/hr bowling lanes, half off pizza).

Great place for pool and stiff drinks

Spent the evening sucking down sledgehammers and shooting pool. The atmosphere was great. The food looked great, but didn't try it. Played a little shuffleboard as well. Great place to hang out and drink.

I agree with all the other reviews! And i especially love the one about the burbs...the service is crap, the happy hour is decent, the food is shit, the crowd is..eh! if you just want to a cheap beer and a patio, its fine, but get your order from the bar.

i vote no

this place reminds me of the suburbs that finally got that one cool place in the neighborhood. and because they know they're cool... they overcharge like crazy. i don't think i like the idea of the cool, overpriced activity center. (i'm glad we have authentically cool places so nearby).

Expensive; huge.

This place is fun if you're not on a budget and don't mind getting dirty looks from the people playing pool next to you. But...hipster bowling! That sort of redeems it. Plus, the bartenders are actually very good.

Two double vodkas and a quesadilla was $53. I'm just sayin'....

Eh, pricey Bar/Club Food

You could do better. Soggy, short on substance, high in price for what you get. Walk down to Jack in the Box on broadway and back: it'll feel more rewarding. GREAT place to bowl or play pool, though!
