Restaurant Details

  • Genki Sushi is a giant Japanese conveyor-belt-sushi chain that conveys sushi to your mouth at several Seattle locations. It's got an electric-orange-and-white color scheme, the people are nice, and the rolls (while heavy on the rice) are decent. (Hint: Order nigiri from your server; try marinated mackerel and halibut with shiso.) And it is so, so unbelievably cheap: The plates stacking up are at most a couple dollars each. Genki says it's "America's family sushi restaurant," but it's really a paradise for students, stoners, and skinflints.
  • Features: Air Conditioning, Bar/Happy Hour, Cheap Eats and To Go
  • Cuisine: Japanese and Sushi
  • Price Range: $
