Great Neighborhood Pub

I love that I can step off the trail (Burke Gilman) refresh myself with a great beer, rest my toes, eat an organic salad, then carry on my way home. I grab my sweetie and we head back for a dinner of delicious crab cakes and Rockfish and Chips. So comfortable! Thanks Hale's for making life so easy.

Good food, aweful service

We told the waitress we needed a table for 5 even though only 4 people were there at arrival. After being sat at a 4 person table the we pulled up a 5th chair and the waitress so we could not do that because it was a fire hazard... a 400 pound man could have walked behind the extra chair...

Great beer, a good place to talk, and diverse enough menu to please most of my friends. I like brunch, lunch, & dinner. Nice pleasant service, always a comfortable place to go.

Blah

The food is way over priced for just OK food. And the waitstaff is not helpful at all. There are too many places in Seattle that serve good food to waste your time at Hales.

we just want shots with no ice

this place is ok. a little over-priced for fancy pub fare. the beer is tasty, but they don't serve shots!! they will give you a whiskey neat, but only with some ice floating in it. not sure what this is all about, but it's stupid enough to ward of me, my boyfriend, and several of my friends.
