I, Anonymous

You came up to me at the bus stop and asked me if the #5 bus had gone by. I understood your question to be whether or not I had change for a $5 bill for the bus. When I responded that I didn't have any money on me, you interpreted my reply to mean that I thought you were asking if I had $5 to give you! You looked offended that I thought you were asking for money, and after I realized why you were offended, it was too late to apologize for the confusion. I did not mean to offend, and hope this will clear up any misinterpretation on both our sides.
