On November 11, 2009, Ben Hills (aka Benny Hills, Ben Danzig, Ben Jovi, and Benny Blue Eyes) died tragically in a fire. He was a bouncer at the Comet Tavern and a member of Seattle band the Shy Ones. He was a friend to many and loved by all. He will be missed and will live on in the hearts of countless members of the Seattle music community, his friends, and his family. RIP, Ben. You are loved.
