Holly Cole March 30, 2013

Really Holly!!! I love your CDs. I presume when you record them, you are not high, like you were last night. The band was awesome...you were not. Your arrangements are worthy of 5 stars, your performance was not.

Great music, terrible food

I'm amazed by the venue every time I catch a show at Jazz Alley. Unfortunately, to get the best tables you should show up for dinner beforehand -- which means having to eat the overpriced and unappealing food. I'm headed there tonight and am dreading having to pick something off the menu. I know that I'll be disappointed by whatever comes out and disgusted that I paid too much for it. They should just work out an arrangement with Tom Douglas (Palace Kitchen is just next door) to provide satisfying fare.

All-ages (not 21+)

I haven't actually been there, but I just called Jazz Alley yesterday to ask - they're an all-ages establishment.

Not as good as expected.

Went to Jazz Alley for the first time, the entertainment was excellent! Cocktails, food, service, was so disappointing.
My suggestion, is only order wine or beer, eat before you go then enjoy some great music. DEW

front row to best musicians on earth

Ridiculously great access to great show after great show. complaints about food here are like whining that your supermodel wife isn't a rocket scientist.

Jazz Alley food sucks

The chefs need to erase the menu and start from scratch. We routinely plan our attendance based on eatng prior to or after the show at a different venue.
Just this week we saw Cassandra Wilson there and out of desperation I ordered the Mesa platter- who could mess up hummous, olives and pita bread? The hummous ran all over the plate- it had diarrhea!
