It can be argued that small towns are good for fostering creativity because their occupants are forced to augment their corporeal realities with richly developed imaginations. Make Space, a group show featuring the work of artists from tiny towns, makes a compelling case for the benefits of relative social isolation. Featuring Jessica Bonin and James Reisen of Edison, Justin Gibbens and Renee Adams of Thorp, Jeremy Newman and Alison Ciancibelli of Twisp, and Ellen Picken of Republic, and David Eisenhour of Port Hadlock.
