As of spring 2011, Nana's Soup House has become Korner Kitchen. Lindy West has called Nana’s Soup House “entirely darling” with “life-changing” (in a good way) soup. Also, Nana’s corn muffin: “basically baked candy, in the best way.”

Now in Fremont

Leave it to an old faithful to come to rescue me from my Fremont lunch funk. I always wished I had the time to make it to the flagship store on weekdays, but it wasn't ever in the cards. I believe Nana to have clairvoyant powers simmering in her soup pot. Thank you for arriving just in time for the long gray nothing looming over us for the next 9 months.

Great Soup and Cheap

This is a cheap place that has great food. The baked potato soup is just awesome. Service is good too. Try it out and I'm sure you wil not be disappointed. :)

Can life get better? I submit that it cannot...

Without a doubt, my absolute favorite place to eat. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and an abundance of healthy food choices ranks Nana's atop my list of pleasant dining experiences. Many options of delicious soups, of course. Sandwiches, cold or grilled, salads, and Northwest microbrews on tap. Variety and deliciousness affordable even for the student. Simply fantastic.

Great Soups 4 Great Prices

I love Nana's soup house... it has the most delicious soups and sandwiches. I love to have their tomato basil soup with just a grilled cheese sandwich. I also enjoy their different types of beers. Happy hour is great there. And I love the atmosphere... Its a great place to relax and study or to just go with my family and friends.

Very cheap and Very delicous

I have been coming to Nana's Soup House for 2 years now. I go in the winter and the summer time. The environment is friendly and cozy and the soups are so tasty and fulfilling. I especially enjoy their Baked Potato soup with their yummy potato bread or their White Chicken Chili with a corn muffin. For the amount of food you get it is worth every cent you pay for.

Lotsa Choices.... Great Quality

One of the joys of dining at Nana's is the diversity of soups on the menu. Hearty and rich, all deliver a complex and tasty mix of flavors. The beer/wine offerings are good, as are the sandwiches and desserts. But it's the soup that makes this Bryant neighborhood spot a real treat.... and there's a fair price/quality ratio, too.

best soup & corn bread in seattle

Nana's is bar none my favorite soup restaurant in Seattle. Nothing beats it on a rainy day. And Nana's soup and salad in the summer is pretty perfect. I wish my neighborhood had a Nana's... but Nana's is worth the trip across town (it's a few blocks north of U Village) and I've found the soups, made fresh daily, freeze well. And then there's the corn bread, also made fresh daily, heaven.

Wild Mushroom Soup

The Wild Mushroom Soup I once had at Nana's was so truly incredible-- it set the official bar for all Mushroom Soups since. And as of yet, not one has lived up to its greatness. Oh, and by the way-- Nana's is just a really cool, cozy place.

Very CHEAP

Not sure where Tim was actually eating or what Tim would consider cheap, as I am not sure I would eat at a place cheaper than Nana's unless it had a drive through. Tried for the first time the other day. Two people ate full bowls of soup with a yummy muffin for less than $11.00 without the tip (that is less than a couple of combo meals at McDonald's Tim). Where can you eat homemade goodness for that price anywhere else? The baked potato soup was to die for and I look forward to many returns. I spent two hours there with a friend who is moving to Eastern WA, and we were never rushed out, even though the place was busy. Very inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks Nana!

Not cheap

Don't know how this earned 1 dollar sign for the price guide. I've found them to be fairly pricey for what you get and was never very impressed with the food.

Magazine Rack

Current food and current pulp. Yummy soups and perfect sandwiches. No complaints and many praises.
