Melt in your mouth delicious

Sweet, almost buttery, fresh, delicous sushi. $90 for lots of sushi for two including cocktails and beer.

Shiny but not the best.

I agree that Nishino has great sushi and food in general and it certainly looks nice but I also think it doesn't deserve it's status as the best. If you want authentic Japanese, not your place. If you want a cozy atmosphere, not your place. If you aren't feeling wealthy, not your place. If you want to judge for yourself if the hype is worth it, this is your place.

I'm with you guys.

The sushi is out of the world great. You'll blow a lot of dough. The room is cold and weirdly northern european. The art, however is nice. Let them make all the choices for you and you'll have a great experience. FYI This review was written by a non-editorial staff member of The Stranger.

Agreed - best sushi I've had in Seattle

Not much more to say. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious, beautifully made and presented. Perfect. Of course perfection is never cheap, but you'll get your money's worth here.

Delicious

Try the omakase and let the chef choose for you. Make sure you have time to spare, as the meal rolls out at a leisurely pace. Ingredients are always seasonal and wonderful. Or sit at the sushi bar and order as you go. Chilled sake options round everything out nicely. Go and enjoy.

The Best Sushi & More

This is the best sushi in town I think. But as good are all the other special dishes which you really should try. The ambiance is a little spare, but it is unpretentious and friendly. I wouldn't go there for romance, but definitely for anything else.
