  • Upscale hot-doggery Po Dog serves them with cheese sauce and crushed potato chips; bacon, scrambled egg, and cheddar; guacamole and salsa; wrapped in bacon and deep-fried; and much more. It's worth noting, however, that Po Dog's regular dog is Hebrew National, which contains nitrates and is now a subsidiary of food giant ConAgra, the Wikipedia page of which—with allegations of environmental irresponsibility, labor issues, health violations, salmonella and E. coli–related product recalls, and delicious, delicious more—merits all Americans' attention.

Overall it's a NO GO

Why?
1. It IS overpriced. And don't give that crap about "more food". If you just get a plain dog with nothing on it, it' still a rip.
2. They do things to a hot dog which shouldn't be done IMO. It's be nice if they just made a high quality, simple dog. It's un-American not to.
3. The dog is taste is overall pretty lame... not a good grilled dog which would be seemingly so easy. Why oh why can't they do that.

NOT OVER PRICED!!!!

Apparantly there're some weiner whiners in Seattle. (Weird, Seattlites whining. No way!!) The reason the dogs at Po Dog are a bit pricey is because they're pilled up with toppings. It's called "food cost" folks!! More food = more $$. In my opinion, worth every bit. Fuck, I'm hungry!

Eggroll dog = bomb diggity

Awesome new joint, great atmosphere. It is literally a hole in the wall establishment, so I wasn't expecting it to be as busy as it was at lunchtime. Still, quick service, everyone was super friendly, and amazing selection. I will definitely be going back again and again.

Delicious dog!

I was skeptical at first what to make of all the unusual toppings (peanut butter & banana, eggroll wasabi, deep fried onion crisps), but after ordering a "Texas Dog" my opinion has changed. I also ordered a Manny's on draft ($4) and a side of their homemade potato chips (excellent). The toppings all were generous and the bun outstanding. I'll be back again this week!
