The Gyrating Circles of Cop Hell

Green and Red Lights/Central District/Sun Jan 25/7:17 pm: Midway along the journey of life, Officer Avery awoke and entered hell (a rave in a "multipurpose rental space"). "I walked into the dance hall," he reports, "and observed one young man sitting on top of another young male with their genitals touching each other and the male on top gyrating his hips in a sexual manner. As soon as the male on top saw me walk in and flash my flashlight, he jumped up as if he had been caught doing something he knew he had no business doing. I then saw a young-looking female on a stage giving a young-looking male a bare back rub, using oil and water.

"There were three couches on the stage. The couch in the center of the stage had three people sleeping on it, all sitting up. The couch on the left had two people sleeping on it, both sitting up. The third couch in the rear had one male sleeping on it, stretched out. There were also young people passed out on the floor of the stage.

"There was a girl sitting in a bleacher-type chair, staring ahead as if she was watching a movie. She appeared unable to move on her own, and I saw a young male come to assist her in standing and walking out of the hall.

"There were about four or five people dancing on the dance floor, and they all had fluorescent lights in their hands, and were waving them. I observed one young man masturbating while another man danced in front of him, waving red and green fluorescent lights in his face. The young man who was masturbating put a black felt hat over his penis when he was alerted by the dancing male that the police were in the house.

"I asked the people at the door, 'Who's in charge of the dance?' I was told that 'John' was in charge. I spoke with 'John,' who gave me his full name and said he was 'like, the manager.' John said that he worked for Chuck, who is affiliated with the Sons of Haiti Brotherhood.... I was unable to locate any previous criminal records on John.

"Due to the nature of the activities that I saw, I felt it time for the club to end, so I informed the DJ to turn off the music and told John that it was time for everyone to leave. John made the announcement, and people started slowly filing out."

In conclusion, Officer Avery reports: "[When everyone had cleared the hall] there were several people [still] in the [men's] restroom, and I noticed that there was no door on the restroom. Having no door on the restroom made the activities going on inside the restroom audible from where I stood. I heard no flushing in the restroom, and all the young men who were inside filed out within seconds of each other. [But while they were inside the restroom,] I didn't hear the sounds of urine hitting the water of a toilet. However, when another guy went into the restroom, I did hear his urine hit the water in the toilet."
