Have you looked at vbs.tv yet? It's the new video site created by Vice magazine. Forget whatever opinion you have of the magazine, and just go look. The videos, in my opinion, rival the ones on the New York Times' website—both in content and production quality. This month, there's a three-part series, in the regular feature, Shot by Kern, that features pervy photographer Richard Kern interviewing 19-year-old porn star Sasha Grey. Who's Sasha Grey? Let's just say she's way too young, way too pretty, and somehow NOT an idiot. Here's an excerpt of how she describes herself in a VBS blog entry: "I began college in August of 2005, balancing school and work seven days a week. Around this time I started thinking about pornography as a career opportunity... Many people in society believe that I am a victim. But I was not sexually abused. I am not on drugs... I am a woman who strongly believes in what she does—it's time that our society comes to grips with the fact that 'normal' people (women, especially) enjoy perverse sex." At 19, Grey has an unbelievably positive outlook on porn, and believes what SHE'S doing is "performance art." Is she the Cosey Fanni Tutti of her generation? Go see for yourself.
