Poster of the Week
Why are four early-century King County mug shots taped around a large paper map of L.A. on a brick post (across from Cafe Vita on Pike St on 10th Ave)? Why would someone hang these valuable relics to be rained on and/or stolen? Who are these crooks, and what do the various written details (Age: 28, Year: 1931, Occupation: Chauffer, Crime: Grand Larceny) signify? This poster installation is as strange and compelling as the questions it raises. CORIANTON HALE
