Poster of the Week

These two lovely posters showed up on poles just outside our offices dangerously close to my deadline. If I hadn't been drinking with the hobos in the park all morning, I wouldn't have caught them. Maja Wilson has a great sense of balance, command of her illustration, and the balls to minimize content. My favorite part, though, is the super smart and restrained use of overprinting to simulate a third color (and a 3-D effect with the small type). CORIANTON HALE
