Poster of the Week

Jacob McMurray hit gold with his recent Heaven and Hell Ball poster for ConWorks, squeezing in a fuckload of type while maintaining a logical sense of order and plenty of breathing room. In contrast, this theater poster puts type in the backseat and delivers a constructivism-inspired, flat and geometric (but beautifully irregular) crowd of people, clouds, and a factory tower spitting smoke. For this authentic "working-class resistance" look, a little imperfection goes a long way. CORIANTON HALE
