Local activist and Seattle Central Community College student Thomas Hays has been distributing these posters online for years, along with instructions for mixing wheat paste. This month he is being cited by the city for the method by which his posters are hung (using paste instead of staples or tape is illegal) and may be fined up to $50 per poster (posters he doesn't claim responsibility for hanging). Hays's blog on www.replacementsneeded.com challenges, "Are the bars, ticket agencies, bands, plays, theaters, smoke outs, yard sales, and a myriad of other festivities [getting hauled into court]? I'm not being singled out because there are posters glued up in the city. I'm being singled out for the content of these posters." CORIANTON HALE
