This poster caused a small traffic jam. When I saw it in the doorway of Bailey/Coy, I stopped to admire it, touching the layered ink textures, blocking the bookstore's only exit. I loved the propane-tank shape in the counterspace of the zero, which provides a cozy home for a descriptive quote. I also think the color is yucky and brave. It's a weird, peachy pale skin tone, gross and wonderful. It's the hue of my mother's nylon hose, the color that some white people thoughtlessly call "nude." Eeewww. Hats off to Dean Welshman and the Henry for such great work. CORIANTON HALE
