Bar Details

  • For centuries, R Place was where fratty A&F-ers went to pose with beer and dartboards. Now it's a tri-story dance emporium ruled by bonsai eyebrows and thrusting retail hips. And a cover charge. The first floor remains pretty much the same (a bar, some boys), but the second floor is now the loungey "living room" decorated in mod furniture. And the third floor? Dance, dance, dance!
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 4 pm-2 am, Sat-Sun 2 pm-2 am.
  • Happy Hour: Mon 4 pm-2 am; Tue-Fri 4-7 pm; Sat 2-7 pm; Sun 2 pm-2 am ($6 doubles, $2.50 domestic pints, $6.75 domestic pitchers).

I am too old for this place. Which doesn't stop guys older than I from trying to pick up high school boys carrying amazing fake IDs.

kind of the pits

i love the vibrent music at the our place. but their is something called a FIRE CODE and they must understand that if they want to stay open! plus let me just ask what is the worst thing you can put in a gays bar? STAIRS. the our place has lots of them. sometimes it is funny to watch one of these seattle queens fall down after too many vodka crans. BUT NOT IF IT IS YOUR FRIEND AND IF YOU WORK THEIR WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING???!? IT'S CALLED OVERSERVING AND I THINK WE HAVE LAWS ABOUT THAT. really i only go if julias is crowded and i'm not alone in that. it is really unbearably hot in the summer which can be funny and sweaty.

Check this place out

Its a nice place if your into the gay friendly areas of Seattle. The dance floor on the third story can be quite fun, and if you feel like talking you can go downstairs. R Place is worth checking out, and sometimes there is no cover charge (before 9pm, I think).
