For three days, Portland's Satyricon is taken over by all things awesome—AwesomeFest 2007 is $15 for three days, $7 for a single day, and it features dozens of killer, loud bands (mostly from in and around Portland), including Brutal Fight, Countdown to Life, Dear Whoever, My Life in Black and White, and System and Station. While you're down there, stop at Byways Cafe on NW Glisan St for the best breakfast in the city and then head over to Voodoo Doughnut (www.voodoodoughnut.com) for dessert. Cream-filled penis pastry... YUM!

Satyricon is at 125 NW Sixth Ave in Portland, beta.satyriconpdx.com. To get there from Seattle, head south on I-5. Take Exit 302A toward City Center. Turn right on N Broadway, left on NW Couch St, and then left on NW Sixth Ave.
