This year, our man in filmdom Warren Etheredge continues his 1 Reel Film Festival, with over 150 short films available for your viewing pleasure. All screenings are at the Intiman Theatre.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 Hollywood High (noon-1 pm) Boldly delivering a slap to the face of film schools everywhere, this package showcases nothing but short films from high schoolers. Featured: Artistic Noise, Eight, Camike, Marley's, Saturday in the Park, and more. Girls' Club (1-2 pm) A collection of shorts tackling all things girly, including: Little Big Girl, Making Fiends #3, Notes, I Like It a Lot, and West Side Story Edit. Boys' Town (2-3 pm) See above, only replace "girly" with "boyye" (which is not really a word, but you get the idea): Old Knives' Tales, La Toiletta, Sucker, Harmless?, and the sure-to-be-brilliant (based on title alone) The Catskill Chainsaw Redemption. Artistry in Motion (3:30-4:30 pm) A few titles on the lineup: Rembrandt: 81 Self-Portraits, Billy Wang's All-Star Poetry Posse, and Vincent Van Gogh: 42 Self-Portraits. Small Media at Large (4:30-5:30 pm) On tap: The Sound of Movies, 50 Feet That Shook the World, Clean Flicks, Proscenium, Arrogance, Ode to Margaret Cho, Taubman Sucks, The Way It Was Meant to Be Seen, and The Climactic Death of the Dark Ninja. The Fly Films Showcase (5:30-6:30 pm) A showcase of the work produced at this year's Seattle International Film Festival's Fly Films Program (known as SIFFFFP for short). Old School/New School (7-8 pm) Learning takes the stage, with Gowanus, Brooklyn, Funetics, and Freebox. Female Trouble (8-9 pm) The ins and outs of women, both crazy and sane: Late Bloomer, Ask Again Later, Hope to Die, and Fake Stacy. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 Saturday Morning Cartoons (noon-1 pm) Much like the nourishing cartoons you remember watching when you were a kid, only a wee bit stranger: Heaven's Web, Alphabet Pam, Rich Land, Sabong Spell, Gingerbread Man, Rent's Due, and The Metaphizzies. Hardly Globetrotters (1-2 pm) Huh? We have no idea either, and the titles offer very few clues of their own: Apsara, The Hitchhiker, and Best of the Wurst. Circus Freaks (2-3 pm) One of us...
