Every year, a humongous hurricane of music, comedy, visual art, theater, and film is unleashed upon Seattle in the form of Bumbershoot, the Northwest’s preeminent music and arts festival, hitting Seattle Center August 30 through September 1. And every year, The Stranger helps you find your way through the dense thicket of delights, with exhaustive schedules, artist profiles, and mercilessly discerning listings—all designed to help you make the countless decisions a festival as big as this one requires. Whether your Bumbershoot dreams include cracking up at comedy, jumping around to indie rock, or pointing and laughing at reanimated ’90s hit makers, The Stranger vs. Bumbershoot will help make your dreams come true.
