POSITION NO. 2:
Vote for Terry Carroll
Terry Carroll won community cred as an auditor overseeing Seattle Police Department internal investigations, where he made enemies with the Seattle Police Officers Guild for all the right reasons. As for judicial experience, he's already got 12 years of duty on the King County Superior Court bench. Critics say Carroll's arrogant, but that's hardly a shocking trait for a judge--in fact, it's sexy. More importantly, Carroll's strong on civil liberties, and his integrity is unassailable.

POSITION NO. 9:
Vote for Tom Chambers
Judicial endorsements were putting the Stranger Death Squad to sleep--until we bumped into Chambers, a candidate to champion. Here's a guy who's spent his career suing insurance companies and other bad corporations--for the little guy. "Justice ought to be equally available," he says. Rock on, Tom! Chambers has experience both in criminal and civil law, and he's given an "Exceptionally well-qualified" rating from the King County Bar Association. What more do you want from a guy in a robe?
