The Belltown space that long held Cascadia is now home to this restaurant/bar owned and operated by Grupo Lezama, a fancy and well-reputed Spanish restaurant chain founded by Catholic priests. Taberna del Alabardero specializes in tapas (there's a four-page menu for the small plates alone), but also offers entrees at both lunch and dinner, with a focus on ambitious seafood dishes, from stuffed squid to broiled monkfish. On the turf side, there's oxtail, pigs' feet, veal cheeks, and crispy suckling pig. There are roughly three options for non-meat-eaters, but they look as good as the rest.
