Noc Noc

1516 Second Ave, 223-1333

Description: A Downtown nightclub wonderland.

What's inside: The withering presence of evil. (There's a tremendous winged-demon sculpture above the bar and a row of creepy white statues resembling cemetery monuments along the entrance.)

On the dance floor: Goths, dancing goth-style to everything, even poppy '80s hits.

Why it works: Catchy electro pop only deepens the angst.

Happy hours: Daily 5–9 pm.

Happy-hour drink specials: $2 beer (Bud Light, High Life), $3 wells, $5 40-ounce PBR, $15 select bottles of wine.

Happy-hour food specials: $3 tater tots, $3 pork egg rolls, and more.

Bonus: Following a cover charge ($3 for those in black, $5 for everybody else), Miller High Life drafts cost just $.25 (Sun 9 pm–close). Weekends bring an after-hours schedule (Fri 2–10 am, Sat 2–11 am, with full food menu available and alcohol served at 6 am). recommended

Tater tots and PBR? That pretty much guarantees I will never go there, that and douchey goth people. Happy hour to me is not about cheap shit, it's about getting good stuff before the bars get too busy.

Belltown stops at Virginia, Noc Noc is not in Belltown.

happy hour, for me, is based solely on specials and noc noc has that down. If only the other pretentious bars in seattle would take a slight lesson.
