THURSDAY 5/19

ADRA BOO!

Quick! Big, busy gay week ahead! Tons and tons and TONS to cover. (I feel like The Biggest Loser's wardrobe lady.) We begin with my good, sassy pal Adra Boo—singer, performer, chanteuse extraordinaire (which is French for "extraordinary hair," I believe). She is hosting the Pop Culture burlesque show at Noc-Noc. Says The Boo, "You can see your favorite in pop culture moments, including an ode to Toddlers & Tiaras, your favorite dance scenes from Dirty Dancing, and even what happens when Sleeping Beauty gets a bit tired of waiting!" Provocative. Miss Adra Boo is a talent to be reckoned with, and if you miss the Miss, you will cry. (Because she will hit you.) Noc-Noc, 9:30 pm, $15, 21+.

FRIDAY 5/20

YOUR BIG BREAK!

SPRING BREAK! Two words that fill the young heart (and the young heart's genitals) with fanciful images of flashing boobies, boobies, BOOBIES; hot guys with one-track minds penises; drunkenness beyond the reasonable tolerance of human liver tissue and God; rambunctious, unhinged filth; and so forth. Tonight all of this happens at the Eagle. (Even the BOOBIES? I'm not making any promises.) The incomparable Jinkx Monsoon hosts/headlines (squeal!), Wiggly Stardust performs, Nark and Amoania and Dana Dub do the DJ thang, and Jell-O shots, body shots, glamour shots (by Nark Magazine!), a patio beer bong, and lots of manly gropiness are surely to abound. Get that jaw limbered up. Spring breeeeak! The Eagle, 10 pm, $5, 21+.

SUNDAY 5/22

UNHAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Tonight, our darling DJ Jack celebrates the next depressing, fattening cumpleaños in the life of our good friend Morrissey—who turns a creaking and decrepit 52 this month (which of course does nothing to besmirch or alter his unchallenged reign as the most bestest singer in the entire world... CHUT UP, CHARITA!)—with a musical tribute. There shall be Morrissey and even more Morrissey, then Patti Smith, Bowie, T-Rex and so on, just to round shit out. Happy 52, you fabulous old tub of blubber! Pony, 9 pm, free, 21+.
