Self-described as "Punk for the People," the Spits sound like the Ramones and Devo scrapping it out over old Kids records at a basement show. Raw, snotty, and sometimes costumed, the Spits are pogo music for party people who can't stand still, showing off a punk record collector's affinity for the more obscure sounds of the '70s underground. One of their most famous fans: Rocket from the Crypt's John Reis, who is taking the Spits on the road this spring with his band.
