FRONT OF BOOK Letters: Two snippy responses from Stranger writers. Just another week in The Stranger's inept journalistic universe.... Last Days: A "greatest hits" column, unfortunately. Also unfortunate: The fact that a Last Days retread is smarter and more entertaining than anything else found in the paper.... NEWS Excruciatingly dull.... SHORT FEATURE Fluffy, harmless.... FEATURE See News.... THEATER Too gay.... BOOKS Didn't read.... ART Didn't read.... FOOD Didn't read.... MUSIC For some unfathomable reason, Bradley Steinbacher's One-Night Stand column continues to run, marring an otherwise entertaining, if fairly anemic, section.... FILM Nelson and Steinbacher together on the same page. The result: much-read film reviews in the Seattle Weekly this week.... ETC. It's My Party: Didn't read.... I Love TV: Shockingly, somewhat amusing this week.... Nightstand: Didn't read.... Control Tower: Didn't read.... Savage Love: I've been informed that this week's issue marks the second anniversary of Dan Savage being at The Stranger's helm. Congratulations, Mr. Savage, and here's hoping you don't make it to a third year.... Celeb I Saw U: Too gay....
