The Stranger Department of Homeland Security BUSH REELECTION ALERT
Despite a terrible month in Iraq (not to mention critical books by Richard Clarke and Bob Woodward), Bush continues to lead Kerry 48 to 43, according to a new ABC-Washington Post poll. Opponents will get another shot at Bush next month, when ex-CIA guy Joseph Wilson releases a book of his own. Unfortunately, Americans don't seem to like books as much as they like TV commercials. Bush apparently weathered this month's storm with a $40 million ad blitz.
