The Stranger Department of Homeland Security

BUSH REELECTION ALERT

Despite Rumsfeld's Abu Ghraib rape rooms, and despite the fact that the scandal (more pictures to come) sent Bush's approval rating skidding to the lowest mark of his presidency (46% according to the USA Today/CNN/Gallup Poll released on May 10), the Stranger Department of Homeland Security is keeping the risk of Bush reelection where it was last week, Blue. That's because Kerry didn't gain from the Guards Gone Wild fiasco in Iraq. In fact, Kerry fell two percentage points from the previous week, and remains locked in a dead heat with Bush. --JF
