BUSH REELECTION ALERT
When a president is forced to go on TV thanks to bad polling numbers (a May 23 CBS poll has Bush at a low 36 percent approval rating) and explain, one, more, time, just what the heck we're doing "over there," his reelection chances are on shaky ground. If Bush's next TV appearance (desperate much?) is this off-track, we might even lower the alert level --JF
