The Mix (Georgetown)

6004 12th Ave S
Seattle, WA 98108
(206) 767-0280

Serving a massive muffuletta, pecan pie made from “Aunt Daisy’s 100-year-old recipe,” and the “holy trinity” of gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans and rice, the Mix promises authentic Cajun food (the chef’s from Shreveport, Louisiana) in a “dark and edgy” setting that’s better known as a music venue.

Back room is open! All one big space total makeover.
The food is sooo good. Never had red beans and rice I was really missing a great taste. The pecan pie is heavenly. Been back twice for lunch and going again next week. Chad (owner) and Mike (chef) are doing a splendid job,see write up in the Stranger with photo of food

CruelKismet 2

Good "Vibes"

I love it on Tuesdays with Don, Steve and Jacques. Be sure to catch Jacques every other Tuesday when he swaps the drumsticks for mallets which become a blur on the vibraphone. Absolute ear-candy!!

Slide in to Christoff

Love this tiny joint. Right behind 9lb Hammer in Georgetown, this is the perfect place to relax and take in some art and/or music you may not have experienced before. Yuppies won't like it, creative/artsies will. Bring an open mind and meet some folks. This is my kinda place. I'll give it 5 stars when they open the back room up a little.
