Love the Ambiance

Tommy Gun is a great place to hang with friends. Warm feel to the establishment, great drinks, kewl staff and good eats. Perfect for the cooler days as there are large windows for people and weather watching! Hot toddy, please!

Gun's aBlazing

Everytime I've gone to this bar (which is frequently) I ask the bartender to dream up some delicious concoction that isn't on a menu or a standard cocktail. They never let me down and always go to lengths to make sure that I'm sippin on exactly what I want. And the appetizers are quite tasty. What more can you ask for from your favorite local bar?!

good hood bar

it's like a cozy neighborhood bar with a tommy gun. great tasty drinkys and pours.

Tommy Gun's the Best!

I have been to Tommy Gun's and I read this article. It is a fantastic place to come and hang out with friends. The drinks are great and the food is "off the hook!" Loved it! It is an enjoyable atmosphere with relaxing lighting!

All the elements of a great bar

First of all, like the Bottleneck Lounge, Tommy Gun feels welcoming. The bartenders and wait staff make it clear they're glad you've come and that you can just kick back and let them take good care of you for the evening. The welcoming vibe spills over to the other patrons, too; it's a friendly group of neighborhood types and evening-outers. The drinks include old standards and more ambitious signature concoctions--fairly priced, quality stuff. The big surprise is the kitchen which serves some very tasty snacks. I've actually made a light dinner of what they offer there and enjoyed it. Finally, there's owner Erin Nestor, whose warmth and charm makes a night in a bar feel like an evening at a great party. Highly recommended.
