Throughout Reggie and the Full Effect's catalog, project creator and frontman James DeWees has put his schizophrenic tendencies to good use. He's acted not only as Reggie, star of the Full Effect, but also as Klaus, the singer of fictional Finnish metal band Common Denominator. He's worn quite a few hats (and wigs and bear suits, for that matter) since his days as the keyboardist in defunct hardcore band Coalesce, and now DeWees is no longer limiting his multiple personalities to appearing only on record. He's piling everyone (er... himself and his imaginary friends) onto the bus and touring the nation as the Reggie Show. Starring Reggie and the Full Effect, the Reggie show also treats the audience to a performance by Common Denominator and Fluxation (DeWees's new-wave project).
Now I don't want to cause a fight or anything, but usually multiple personalities conflict with one another. Aaaaand... Common Denominator, a thrashy metal band vs. Reggie and the Full Effect, a synth-heavy emo/pop act? I smell a battle! Let's look at the stats!
