Green star Uneeda Burger (Fremont)

4302 Fremont Ave N
Seattle, WA 98103
(206) 547-2600
Website

Scott Staples (Zoe, Quinn's) heaves his beef onto the upscale burger bandwagon, offering a standard patty plus a "Whidbey Island Crescent Harbor 100% Wagyu (Kobe) Grass-Fed" option (for a surcharge, of course, and TOTALLY WORTH IT). Also: specials like elk and bison burgers, and the most delicious milkshakes known to humankind (made with local Empire Ice Cream). The space came equipped with vintage signage from Uneeda Auto & Boat Rebuild and garage doors to be thrown open in summertime; the be-picnic-tabled outdoor patio, coupled with a selection of both cheap and fancy beer, shall be a sunshiney, beefy paradise.

Uneeda Getta Grip Seattle

Vegetarian burger was delicious, onion rings were delicious, ambience was great and it was kid-and dog-friendly. I was really happy.

If you want to go to Red Mill cause it's a dollar less, go ahead Subaru drivers. Red Mills's buns are not very good, and their burgers are a lot smaller.

Uneeda or Red Mill?

After hearing recommendations for both burger joints, I decided to do a comparison. In my opinion, Uneeda wins (if cheapness is not one of your main priorities).

Red Mill advantages:
- cheap
- amazing bacon
- fresh toppings

RM disadvantages:
- thin, bland, well-done burger patty
- minimal variety
- lackluster fries

Uneeda advantages:
- patties cooked to perfection: a little pink and juicy!
- wide variety of creative toppings (the #8 with mushrooms, gruyere, and black truffle salt is divine)
- large beer selection
- grass-fed beef available (for an extra $3)

U disadvantages:
- burger prices hover around $10
- lackluster fries

uneeda getta grip

I just visited Uneedaburger on Thursday 6/2/11. While the burger was very tasty and cooked just right. The burger was rather small compared to the bread used.(not a bun on the #6) I didn't get the fried shoestring onions, which added nothing to the burger. The waffle fries were good not great.(I don't like french fries much)
The $15 total= Burger+fries+drink, was a little to much for what i got. Going back to red mill
