Ur Seattle

The VI is it: the bustle, the art, the cocktails...and the food is getting better by the day. I've enjoyed the scene a number of times since the remodel. The Charles Stokes show is first rate. You want to experience the real true Seattle? Check it.

Good food, good beer, good people watching!

I have to admit, I was a little worried about how the VI would change with the remodel, but I am so impressed! The food is better than ever, there are more tables inside and out, and the servers are great. I was most recently there on a busy Saturday afternoon, and while my server didn't have much time to talk, I got everything I could possibly want without having to wait long. Try the burger - it comes with this great chipotle sauce that is just amazing!

Love the food, hate the service

Stopped here for a quick bite. Only ordered gumbo and a salad and it took the forever. The servers chose to cater to the clients who were drinking. Time after time we were passed over the them. And in the end we had to go the counter to get a bill and then it took more than five minutes for them to get it rang up. It was not that busy. Our order was not that complicated. We were simply ignored and blatantly so for a long time. I haven't been back because of this.
