Mason's solo exhibition of organic abstract paintings draw on his interest in tribal and children's art and travel. Not necessarily in that order. Opening reception Thurs Sept 2, 6-8 pm. These two "junk" artists complement each other perfectly. O'Dell's glyph-like forms reference the frontier--log cabins, masted ships, falcons, and Pilgrims--hinting at migration and homesteading, but mostly fascinating for their obsessive iconography. Opening reception Thurs Sept 2, 6-8 pm. James Harris Gallery, 309A Third Ave S, 903-6220. Through Oct 9.
