Vito's Restaurant & Lounge (First Hill)

927 9th Ave
Seattle, WA 98104
(206) 397-4053
Website

Vito’s is back, returned to its former old-school Italiano-style glory in the fall of 2010 by Hideout/Vital 5 maestro Greg Lundgren, with dark-red vinyl booths, central bar, a grand piano, and lounge-act entertainers. Where mobsters and mayors and priests (and doctors getting smashed and gangstas shooting guns) once convened, a cocktail and a plate of pasta wait for you. In the kitchen: Michael Bruno, formerly of Capitol Hill standby Tango. The ace bar staff, looking dapper, mix a perfect martini.
Hours: 4 pm-2 am every day (kitchen closes at 10 pm)

Disco Bloodbath

On Saturday, 11/22/08 someone walked up to a guy on the dance floor and shot him in the head. Classy clientele... and venue. Be warned.
Come on, when Vito passed away back in the 90's and the place was sold, any hipster "Rat Pack" vibe went away. Sad. I live nearby and the place has been closed for several days after the shooting.

This place is gross and trashy. I would not spend a single dime at this establishment. Plus they have cockroaches and the bouncers are rude. THUMBS DOWN ALL AROUND!

One of a Kind

The drinks are stiff. The food is amazing. Happy hour specials you can't beat. 2$ burgers, 2$ pizza, 2$ wells and drafts. It's a great place to start your night.

I'd Rather Be at Vito's

With the best food and even better drink, there is no way you can go wrong. If you want to feel like you've rubbed elbows with the "Rat Pack" this is the place to go.

Never the same twice

I've been here a few times, and it's never the same twice. I'm not a big fan because I like predictabilty in my drinking establishments.
