Portishead hits the nail on the head

Portishead pwn3s that WaMu theater venue, so so definitely a bargain at thrice the price. All the stadium presence and precision of delivery of latter day Pink Floyd, with none of the ego and drama. Better equipment and material too, and Beth sure delivered - like an Indian Princess crooning at the bottom of the sea. Hear her emulating the old theremin solos with her voice in a spot or two, smoother than anything but with a touch of gravel, and only skipped one of the craziest high notes. Like the Little Mermaid if she would smoke a freakin cigarette once in awhile!! Bam! Totally to 'Third' what the Roseland NY concert (see DVD/CD) was to their eponymous second LP, thank you thank you [P] for gracing our little slice of the West and all you readers in the house better drive up to Vancouver tonight if you missed this!
